EM90 Horn - ICEM

In this assignment we were supposed to create a Volvo EM90 horn from a Blender scan imported into ICEM. This assignment had A-class demands ready for production. It was tough but a good lesson. Our teacher made sure to show us what standard the industry expect from us.

Me and a classmate decided to give ourselves some extra headache and try to achieve torsion/G3 on the mid fillet and concave connection surface. I decided to do it this way and therefore 8 CVs and not 6. It was a lot harder to control but in the end I felt happy with the result, especially the connecting concave surface. (Check the 7th picture)

I learned a lot during this project, especially how things work in actual life such as the negative split line and how to solve that type of problem. Some of us even visited World of Volvo where they have an EX90 for display and it had the same split line. It was to check it out in real life.
